Dr. Kayra Cepin is a graduate of Pontificia Universidad Catolica Medical School in Santiago, Dominican Republic. She completed her residency training at Bronx Lebabon Hospital in New York, NY.

Dr. Cepin is Board Certified in Family Medicine and is highly familiar with diagnosis and treatment of multiple chronic diseases and preventative medicine. She is bilingual with fluent communication skills in English and Spanish.

As a child growing up, Dr. Cepin observed first hand primary care as a scarce resource. She quickly learned to associate medicine with happiness -- those who had it were happy, and those who didn't suffered needlessly. As a result, Dr. Cepin has resolved to dedicate her life to a profession, that manages to fuse her passion for medicine, with her compassion for people.

Dr. Cepin's favorite quote is from Hippocrates, one that serves as the underpinning of her philosophy as a wellness provider: "Wherever the art of medicine is loved, there is also a love of humanity".
