Bio
Dr Kamran Jafri is a double board certified surgeon with extensive training and experience in treating infectious, traumatic, congenital and cosmetic conditions of the head, face, nose & sinuses and neck. He has been in practice in Manhattan since 2004. He has received numerous patient care awards and honors and is a Castle & Connolly Top Doctor. Dr Jafri is active in resident and medical student education at Bellevue Hospital Center in New York.
Over the years Dr Jafri has developed a special interest and unique expertise in minimally invasive procedures while utilizing the most advanced technology available for his patients.
Specific treatment areas include sinus infections, nasal breathing problems, snoring and sleep apnea and facelift surgery.
Dr Jafri is a Clinical Professor at NYU Langone Medical Center and a voluntary Clinical Instructor for resident education at Bellevue Hospital Center in Manhattan.
He is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery and the American Board of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.
He is a member of the American Rhinologic Society, International Sleep Surgery Society, the New York Facial Plastic Surgery Society and the New York Medical Reserve Corps.

As an ear, nose & throat specialist, otolaryngologist Dr. Kamran Jafri offers medical and surgical care for patients suffering from complications, diseases and disorders of the head and neck – including the ears, nose and throat. Dr. Jafri may treat a variety of disorders that affect upper-airway breathing, speech, swallowing, and balance and hearing, among other functions. Common conditions treated by an otolaryngologist may include post-nasal drip, asthma, and ear infections.

Plastic Surgery
Plastic surgeons perform a wide variety of surgeries that can restore or correct the form and function of the human body, which can be either cosmetic or reconstructive in nature. Dr. Jafri is able to correct abnormalities of the body that may be causing adverse health effects, or perform surgeries to correct malformations caused by birth defects, trauma, tumors or disease. He also performs elective surgeries, which patients undergo to improve the aesthetic appearance of a certain body part.

Sleep Medicine
Sleep medicine specialists diagnose and treat various disorders and diseases relating to sleep. This can include a range of conditions including insomnia, sleep apnea, restless leg syndrome, narcolepsy, nightmares and others. Dr. Jafri utilizes a variety of diagnostic tools including screening devices, overnight sleep studies or oximeters, among many others. Treatments can include CPAP therapy, implantation of sleep devices, counseling, lifestyle modifications, and others aimed at eliminating or alleviating the symptoms of sleep conditions.
