Dr. Julye Carew graduated from University of Alabama School of Medicine in 1996 before completing a residency in Internal Medicine at University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, TX from 1996 to 1999. She then completed a fellowship in Pulmonary/Critical Care at University of Texas Southwestern from 1999 to 2002.

Critical Care Pediatrics
Critical care pediatricians treat children suffering from life-threatening diseases. Dr. Carew is charged with providing around-the-clock monitoring and intensive care for children who have experienced trauma or disease, landing them in the intensive care unit (ICU) of a hospital. She is trained to stabilize, diagnose, and manage the injuries or conditions in children of all ages – from newborns to adolescents.
