Dr. Draud and his staff are great. He is a good psych doc for medication and management, he asks the right questions and is always polite and careful. What i like is that I can tell him whats going on with me, but he doesn't probe too much for personal details, and i don't feel judged...going to see my previous psych was stressful sometimes because I didn't feel comfortable dredging up personal drama and didn't really like having a lot of stuff in my file like that anyways. With Draud, I can talk generally about feelings and thoughts i'm having, problems or improvements...and he 'gets it,' and it doesn't feel ...exploitative, i guess. He's more like a real doctor. He wants to help, and wants me to be healthy, and it is a job and he's good and productive at it. And I dont dread or avoid my appointments with him, they are just another doctor's appointment.

I have experienced psychiatric disorders for 10+ years. Over the years, I have been forced to change providers because of relocation of practice, retirement or dropping insurance coverage. I only have good things to say about by former providers, however Dr. Draud is head and shoulders above them all. Great staff, returns telephone calls promptly and has provided wonderful care.
