Born and raised in San Bernardino, Dr Skubic returned to the Inland Empire in 1989 after completing his Spinal Surgery Fellowship in Toronto. He and Cheri, his wife of 25 years have two sons, Michael and Jacob. "My core belief in working with patients is determining the treatment that I would want for a loved one or myself. Always keeping this in mind helps me to remain grounded as I seek the best treatment course for my patient. Our spine is our core musculoskeletal structure that supports all our activities. Helping people regain and maintain the health of this vital core so they can lead healthy, productive lives is very rewarding. Oftentimes, that requires a team of dedicated healthcare professionals working together for the benefit of the patient."

Specializing in orthopedic spine surgery, Dr. Skubic can diagnose and treat a range of conditions affecting the spine. These may include degenerative diseases, arthritic conditions, fractures, tumors, deformities such as scoliosis, and other conditions. Treatment techniques may range from invasive to minimally-invasive surgeries of the spine and vertebrae. However, depending upon the patient's diagnosis and medical history, treatments may be non-surgical in nature.
Dr. Skubic is an orthopedic surgeon in California, trained to treat and diagnose all forms of injury to your musculoskeletal system, including the joints, muscles, bones, tendons, and ligaments. Soon after arriving at a certain diagnosis, Dr. Skubic will often turn to surgery when all other treatment solutions have already been eliminated or exhausted. Patients might need the attention of an orthopedic surgeon for torn ligaments, sports injuries, fractures, sprains, and more.
