John Kafrouni, MD is a board certified specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He provides comprehensive care of spinal, sports and neuromuscular disorders, and has extensive experience in spinal cord injury. Dr. Kafrouni’s interests include minimally invasive and regenerative/proliferative techniques to address spinal, joint and extremity pain, electrodiagnosis, and spasticity management.
He is sub-specialty board certified in sports medicine and electodiagnostic medicine, and will consult on functional needs to patients with complex spinal cord and brain injuries and survivors of polytrauma. He emphasizes accurate diagnosis, individualized goals and patient education as keys to empowering patients towards recovery and lifelong health through exercise.
