Dr. Rose is a member of the American Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery, an associate member of the American College of Surgeons, and a candidate member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Rose was awarded the prestigious Cronin Award for best senior resident paper and her residency class won the Truman G. Blocker Bowl for highest scoring residency program. While at Methodist, she discovered her love of microsurgery and she completed her final year of training as a reconstructive microsurgery fellow at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. She has many peer reviewed publications and book chapters to her credit, along with several national and regional presentations. Dr. Rose interests include microsurgery, breast reconstruction, and extremity reconstruction.
