Dr. Jennifer Cohen is a talented physician with a wealth of training and experience, specializing in family medicine. From the Dallas offices of Southwest Family Medicine Associates, Dr. Cohen dutifully serves the communities of the entire Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington metropolitan area.

Dr. Cohen received her medical degree at University of Texas, Southwestern before completing her residency in family medicine at New York-Presbyterian Columbia University Medical Center. After spending ample time in private practice, Dr. Cohen’s tried-and-true holistic approach to patient-centered treatment led her to pursue a fellowship in integrative medicine at Arizona State University.

Dr. Cohen practices a broad scope of traditional family medicine modalities and also is trained in: medical acupuncture, guided imagery, mind-body techniques for stress relief and anxiety, therapeutic use of botanicals and supplements, non-narcotic pain management, testing for leaky gut and SIBO, and nutritional approaches to chronic health conditions.

Dr. Cohen believes that the best approach to care is one that considers the patient as a whole and focuses on optimizing wellness rather than simply treating disease.
