Dr. Kaladas is a native of South Bound Brook, New Jersey and has been providing quality medical care to his patients since 1995. Dr. Kaladas graduated Summa Cum Laude from The College of New Jersey, where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry. He obtained his medical degree from UMDNJ - Robert Wood Johnson Medical School where he also completed his internship and residency. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and is Founder & Medical Director of Urgentmed. Dr. Kaladas serves as a school physician for South Bound Brook Elementary School. He admits to both Somerset Medical Center and RWJ University Hospital. Dr. Kaladas is a Clinical Professor at three Universities; Seton Hall University, UMDNJ, and Drexel University, where he trains & educates Physician Assistant students. Recognized as an Outstanding Physician in 2011, Dr. Kaladas received the Outstanding Physician of the Year award, in recognition of supporting PA education. Dr. Kaladas has authored & co-authored over 17 scientific publications in major peer-reviewed journals & United States patents. He has also participated in numerous clinical research trials in the development of new treatments for hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, asthma, & more.
Dr. Kaladas is an avid long distance runner. He began running in his early 50's and has run several marathons & half marathons, including the NYC marathon in 2011. Awarded the Phidippides Award 2010, 2011 & 2012 earning Gold Award for Outstanding Performance and Endurance in Long Distance Running. He is a member of USATF and Jersey Shore Running Club. Dr. Kaladas is happily married and has 2 children and a Golden Retriever!
