Dr. Reingold has returned to his hometown of Sandy Springs to start his practice as a cardiovascular disease specialist at the Saint Joseph’s Medical Group. His unique areas of clinical interest include preventive cardiology, advanced cardiac imaging, nuclear cardiology, structural/valvular heart disease, arrythmias and heart failure, in addition to providing general cardiology consultation services.

Dr. Reingold’s Ivy League training and unique clinical and research background place him at the forefront of advanced cardiac care. He employs innovative techniques such as the Supine Bicycle Stress Echo, 3D Echocardiography, and Cardiac CTA to improve the diagnoses and treatment of his patients.

A Fellow in the Saint Joseph’s Heart and Vascular Institute and active investigator within the Saint Joseph’s Research Institute, Dr. Reingold participates in numerous studies including the Medtronic CoreValve® U.S. Pivotal Trial to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the CoreValve® System in Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI), a minimally-invasive treatment option for people with severe aortic stenosis.

Leading-up to his cardiovascular disease fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, Dr. Reingold graduated at the top of his class from the University of Georgia as well as the Emory University School of Medicine. He then left Atlanta for a clinical research fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, followed by an internal medicine residency at the University of California San Francisco.

Dr. Reingold makes regular appearances on CNN’s health program Sanjay Gupta, MD, and is well published in medical industry literature. In his free time, Dr. Reingold enjoys tailgating with fellow UGA Bulldog fans, hiking in the North Georgia mountains, and spending time with his family.
