Recommends Available On Time Friendly Professional Knowledgeable Nice Office Understandable Reachable Helpful StaffBest doctor. The ice machine use prior to surgery, after surgery, at home was the key to my recovery. I didn't have general anesthesia- was great- helps with recovery not being groggy after. The med combination worked perfectly if the patient followed correctly which I did. PT went very well, hardly any scar at all.

Dr. James Verner graduated from University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago.
Dr. Verner has three offices in Michigan where he specializes in Orthopedic Surgery and Reconstructive Orthopedic Surgery.
An orthopedic surgeon in Michigan, Dr. Verner is qualified to treat and diagnose all varieties of injuries to the musculoskeletal system, including the muscles, bones, joints, ligaments, and tendons. Soon after arriving at a specific medical diagnosis, Dr. Verner will often resort to surgery when all other treatment options are already ruled out or exhausted. Patients might need the care and attention of an orthopedic surgeon for sports injuries, sprains, torn ligaments, fractures, and more.
Dr. James Verner specializes in reconstructing damaged or ill-functioning bones and joints. Issues may be the result of congenital disorders, infections, degenerative diseases, or serious injuries. The ultimate goal is to return patients to full or near-full function as quickly as possible. Surgical treatments are usually performed after non-surgical or minimally-invasive treatments have been ruled out or failed.
