Dr. James Lee, Jr. is a board certified, fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in Shoulder, Sports Medicine, Fracture and Joint Replacement surgery.
He currently serves as Head Team Physician for Bloomfield College in Bloomfield, NJ, the East Orange Campus High School football team, and the Barringer High School football team. He served as the Director of Sports Medicine at the Newark Beth Israel Medical Center from 2008-2015.

As an orthopedic surgeon in New Jersey, Dr. Lee is trained to diagnose and treat all types of injuries to the musculoskeletal system, including the bones, joints, muscles, ligaments, and tendons. After arriving at a specific diagnosis, Dr. Lee will generally resort to surgery when all other treatment methods have been exhausted or ruled out. Patients may require the care of an orthopedic surgeon for fractures, torn ligaments, sprains, sports injuries, and more.
Sports medicine physicians are trained to provide treatment and prevention plans for those participating in sports and related physical activities. Dr. Lee is trained to treat complications such as muscle tears and strains, concussions, tendon and ligament damage, shin splints, sports hernias, fractures, and a variety of others.
