Thoracic Surgery
Following rigorous and lengthy training, thoracic surgeons are uniquely qualified to perform complex surgeries on the chest, or thorax as it is sometimes called. Their focus is usually on the lungs, esophagus, and other areas of the chest, and may also include the heart. As such, Dr. Daugharthy may see patients in Nevada for a wide range of surgeries, for example removing cancer causing tumors from the esophagus and chest wall, or even a lung transplant.

Vascular Surgery
Vascular surgeons are trained to evaluate and treat complications and diseases of the circulatory system including arteries, veins, and blood vessels.
