Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD/PVD) is a common blood circulation and claudication problem in the leg where narrowed arteries reduce blood flow. When you develop Peripheral Artery Disease, your legs do not receive enough blood flow to keep up with demand. This causes symptoms such as leg pain at rest, and when walking. Men and women are equally affected by Peripheral Artery Disease, however diabetic women are more likely to develop PAD than diabetic men.

After Dr. Jacques Antoine obtained his M.D. at the University of Veracruz School of Medicine, he completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn.
Dr. Antoine is affiliated with numerous Hospitals located around New York, including Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn. He has been licensed to practice by the state board in New York since 1989.
