Dr. Chernyavskiy earned his medical degree at Krasnoyarsk State Medical University in Russia, followed by a residency in internal medicine at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, NJ, and a fellowship in pulmonary care at the State University of New York (SUNY), Stony Brook.
He maintains active memberships in many medical societies including the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, the American Thoracic Society and the American Medical Association, and is board-certified by the American Board of Sleep Medicine and by the American Board of Internal Medicine in critical care, pulmonary disease and sleep medicine. In addition to seeing patients at his private practice, Dr. Chernyavskiy maintains hospital affiliations with Stony Brook University Medical Center and the VA Medical Center in Northport.
