Psychiatric and behavioral health disorders range from potentially life-threatening, such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and severe depression, to less debilitating conditions, such as anxiety and mild mood disorders, to those conditions take a toll not only on sufferers themselves, but also on families and caregivers such as dementia.

Dr. Patel is prepared to diagnose and treat the various types of mental illness, such as depression, dementia, bipolar disorder and anxiety disorders, among other psychiatric illnesses and disorders.

Dr. Patel is trained to provide various treatments, including the prescription of medications, different forms of psychotherapy and cognitive-behavioral therapy, among other techniques. Dr. Patel is also trained to practice Adult and Geriatric Psychiatry.
