Dr. Helen Schmidt graduated from Women's Medical College of Pennsylvania in 1963 before completing a residency in General Surgery at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, WA from 1964 to 1968. She then completed a fellowship in General Surgery at Virginia Mason Medical Center from 1967 to 1968.
