Dr. H. Christopher Coley graduated from American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in 2001 before completing a residency in General Surgery at Union Memorial Hospital from 2001 to 2002. He then completed a fellowship in Hand Surgery at University of Louisville from 2006 to 2007.
Dr. Coley has one office in North Carolina where he specializes in Cosmetic Surgery and Hand Surgery.
Specializing in the field of cosmetic surgery, Dr. Coley performs surgical and non-surgical procedures to improve or restore the aesthetics of a specific feature of body part. Cosmetic surgery may include rhinoplasty (or "nose jobs"), chin reshaping, face or necklifts, lipsuction or tummy tucks. A mainstay of cosmetic surgery, breast procedures such as breast augmentation, reduction, or lifts are among the most popular procedures performed by cosmetic surgeons.
A hand surgeon in North Carolina, Dr. Coley cares for injuries and complications of the hand, fingers, wrist, forearm, elbow and shoulder. Dr. Coley is specifically trained to diagnose each patient and determine whether or not surgical intervention is medically necessary, as surgery is usually seen as a last resort when other treatment methods have been exhausted. As a result, treatment can be surgical or non-surgical in nature.
