Dr. Gerald Koppes graduated from University of Kansas School of Medicine at Kansas City in 1972 before completing a residency in Internal Medicine at San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium from 1972 to 1975. He then completed a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium from 1975 to 1977.
