Dr. Gary Schoolnik graduated from University of Washington School of Medicine in 1972.
Dr. Schoolnik has two offices in California where he specializes in Infectious Disease Medicine and Internal Medicine.
Dr. Schoolnik works with nine hundred and twenty-five doctors including Dr. Jeffrey Kishiyama and Dr. Reza Khodaverdian.
As an infectious disease specialist, Dr. Schoolnik is capable of preventing, diagnosing, and treating a wide variety of infectious diseases. Typically, patients with an infectious disease, such as malaria, will require highly specialized treatment or care. Dr. Schoolnik may also educate patients traveling to places around the world that have a high rate of infectious diseases; this is sometimes referred to as travel medicine.
The specialty of internal medicine is an area of primary care for adults. Dr. Schoolnik specializes in diagnosing and treating cross-system illnesses that may affect multiple organ systems. Dr. Schoolnik can also refer patients to specialist physicians when medically needed.
