Bio


After graduating from Manhattan College, Dr. Frank Tarantini earned his MD from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn, NY. He completed his residency in surgery at the SUNY Health Science Center in Brooklyn, New York and his combined vascular and endovascular fellowship at SUNY Health Science Center. Dr. Tarantini joined Verrazano Vascular Care at Access Care Physicians in 2006 and is also an attending vascular surgeon at Richmond University Medical Center and New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn. An expert in the field of fistula creation, he participates in cutting edge treatments for vascular and micro vascular disease and has published several papers. He is at the forefront of treatment modalities including radio frequency ablation, sclerotherapy injections, and peripheral arterial angioplasty and stenting. Dr. Tarantini is a member of the American Medical Society, NY State Medical Society, Richmond County Medical Society, and New York Society for Vascular Surgery. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
