Dr. Tamer, a family practice physician, care for infants to older adults. He treats a wide range of health issues, from diabetes to high blood pressure to heart disease. He earned his medical degree from Tishreen University, Latakia, Syria. He performed an internship with the Naval Hospital of Tartous, Syria; an externship with Methodist Hospital North, Memphis, Tenn.; and a residency in family medicine with the Kansas Medical Education Foundation, Topeka, Kan.
Dr. Tamer has been involved in community efforts to improve State Avenue.
