Dr. Krahn is fellowship trained in Bariatric surgery, and has been one of the top actively practicing Bariatric surgeons in Southern California for seven years. He received undergraduate and MD degrees from the University of California Davis, surgery training and certificate from Loma Linda University, and Bariatric fellowship from US Bariatric in Florida, under Robert T. Marema, MD FACS. He is a current member of the American Society for Bariatric Surgery, AMA, other surgical societies, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Krahn has performed over 2000 Bariatric surgeries, with complication rates that are lower than the national average, and weight loss that is above national averages.
