Demetrio Prota, M.D., provides outpatient and telehealth services. Dr. Prota received his medical degree from the UNIBE School of Medicine in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He completed a psychiatry residency at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center at Weill Cornell Medical College in Bronx, NY, where he served as chief resident. He recently completed a fellowship in electroconvulsive therapy at the university of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pa. Dr. Prota is fluent in Spanish.

Dr. Demetrio Prota is a psychiatrist, a primary care physician for psychological health. He helps with the psychological well-being of men and women, with an ability to identify and treat all of the different types of psychological illness. These may include depression, eating disorders, bipolar disorder or anxiety disorders, for example.
