Bio


Dr. Sherman has been performing eyelid surgery for over twenty years. She is recognized as a top plastic surgeon for eyes, and is often invited to teach her innovative approaches to her colleagues across the country and around the world. Dr. Sherman received her medical degree from East Tennessee State University, Quillen College of Medicine, where she also had her internship. She then completed her residency at Vanderbilt University, followed by a fellowship at University Of Wisconsin-Madison.Dr. Sherman is one of fewer than 500 specialists in the world designated as a Fellow of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery/Oculofacial Plastic Surgery.What\'s more, Dr. Sherman has conducted award winning research in the tissues surrounding the eyes, chosen by her professional peers in the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery. Currently, Dr. Sherman shares her extensive medical specialty knowledge as a Assistant Clinical Professor at Vanderbilt University, Department of Ophthalmology.
