Bio


Dr. Mishkel is Board Certified in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology. He is in his 20th year of practice, the last 15 years being in Boca Raton. He obtained his Medical degree at McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

Dr. Mishkel did residencies in Internal Medicine and Cardiology at the University of Toronto where he also completed a fellowship in Interventional Cardiology. Then, he moved to Houston to perform a second fellowship in both Interventional Cardiology and Peripheral Vascular Medicine at the University of Texas. Dr. Mishkel is Board Certified in the United States and Canada. He holds privileges at Boca Raton Regional Hospital and Delray Medical Center.

Dr. Mishkel is a highly specialized and experienced clinician with strong communication skills and a compassionate dedication to his patients. He has been principal investigator on many studies for Lipid Therapy, Cardiac Intervention, Anticoagulation and Atrial Fibrillation.

Dr Mishkel has served as Chief of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Boca Raton Regional Hospital and Chaired the Cath Lab Quality Committee, as well as chairing multiple educational programs for the physician community.
