The Steadman Clinic is located on the 4th floor of Vail Valley Medical Center. Elevators to the clinic are located on the 1st floor lobby on the far West side of the building.
Dr. Kuppersmith has co-authored a number of research orthopedic-related articles and has presented findings at orthopedic-related conferences. Dr. Kuppersmith received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan.
Prior to medical school, Dr. Kuppersmith worked with Dr. Marc Philippon and Karen Briggs at the Steadman Philippon Institute in the Department of Clinical Research, where he co-authored numerous journal articles, book chapters, instructional videos, and presentations focusing on outcomes following hip arthroscopy. Dr. Kuppersmith received his medical degree from The Sackler School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at the Icahn School of Medicine / The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City and went on to be an attending physician at the Hospital for Special Surgery in the Department of Peri-Operative Medicine.
As an internist, Dr. David Kuppersmith specializes in the primary care of adults through diagnosis and treatment of a range of conditions affecting many organ systems. Dr. Kuppersmith also can refer patients to specialists when medically needed. For example, patients having serious breathing problems may be referred to a pulmonologist for additional medical tests or therapies.
