Dr. David Horak graduated from UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine in 1978 before completing a residency in Internal Medicine at Cedars - Sinai Medical Center, UCLA School of Medicine in Los Angeles, CA from 1979 to 1981. He then completed a fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine at Cedars - Sinai Medical Center, UCLA School of Medicine from 1981 to 1983.
Dr. Horak has one office in California where he specializes in Pulmonary Critical Care.

Critical care pulmonologists are trained in two closely-related areas of medicine: pulmonology & critical care. Dr. Horak treats patients suffering from life-threatening pulmonary disorders and diseases. These may include emphysema, pneumonia, lung cancer or COPD. As a critical care specialist, Dr. Horak is also trained to stabilize patients who are in critical condition and require mechanical ventilation.
