Dr. Valdez is a graduate of The University of Texas at San Antonio where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He received the doctor of medicine degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
After medical school, Dr. Valdez completed his residency training in orthopaedic surgery at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Dr. Valdez is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and completed his 10 year recertification; he is current with the Maintenance of Certification (MOC) process.
