Dr. Dan Lucian Dumitru, MD is Board Certified in Neurology by American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN), Clinical Neurophysiology by ABPN, Sleep Medicine by ABPN and Electrodiagnostic Medicine by American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine (ABEM).

Dr. Dan L. Dumitru, MD has graduated from Carol Davila University in 1995 in Romania. He completed his Internship at Saint Joseph Hospital in Chicago, IL, his residency at LSU in New Orleans, LA, in 2006 and his fellowship at KU Kansas City, KS in 2007.

Sleep Medicine
Sleep medicine specialists diagnose and treat various disorders and diseases relating to sleep. This can include a range of conditions including insomnia, sleep apnea, restless leg syndrome, narcolepsy, nightmares and others. Dr. Dumitru utilizes a variety of diagnostic tools including screening devices, overnight sleep studies or oximeters, among many others. Treatments can include CPAP therapy, implantation of sleep devices, counseling, lifestyle modifications, and others aimed at eliminating or alleviating the symptoms of sleep conditions.
