Dr. Christopher R. Spock, Board Certified Dermatologist, is originally from Connecticut. He received his undergraduate degree at Princeton University and his MD from Yale University where he graduated Cum Laude. His medical school thesis research received the prestigious William U. Gardner Prize for the most outstanding thesis in the graduating class. Following medical school Dr. Spock completed a one-year medical internship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City where he was also elected to serve on the hospital ethics committee. He completed his dermatology residency at the University of Miami Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery.Dr. Spock then received additional training during a fellowship in MOHS surgery, laser and cosmetic dermatology, and advanced techniques in minimally invasive cosmetic surgery at the California Skin Institute under the direction of Greg Morganroth, MD in Mountain View, California. Dr. Spock has authored over a dozen peer-reviewed articles and has been published in Archives of Dermatology; Journal of Investigative Dermatology; Cosmetic Dermatology; and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

In addition to treating patients with skin cancer or cosmetic concerns, Dr. Spock also sees patients with rashes, psoriasis, eczema, acne, warts, and all other dermatologic problems. Dr. Spock performs injections with Botox, Dysport, Juvederm, Restylane, Perlane, Belotero, and Sculptra. He also performs subcision for acne scars and laser resurfacing, utilizing advanced techniques in local anesthesia to maximize patient comfort during cosmetic procedures. Dr. Spock aspires to treat his patients like members of his own family, showing them compassion and respect and helping them to make educated decisions about their skincare that benefit their overall health and well-being. Outside of work he enjoys kiteboarding, Crossfit, skiing, and traveling.
