Infectious Disease Medicine

As an infectious disease specialist, Dr. Oakley is capable of preventing, diagnosing, and treating a wide variety of infectious diseases. Typically, patients with an infectious disease, such as malaria, will require highly specialized treatment or care. Dr. Oakley may also educate patients traveling to places around the world that have a high rate of infectious diseases; this is sometimes referred to as travel medicine.
