Internal Medicine

The specialty of internal medicine is an area of primary care for adults. Dr. Sorensen specializes in diagnosing and treating cross-system illnesses that may affect multiple organ systems. Dr. Sorensen can also refer patients to specialists when medically necessary. For example, patients with severe heart problems may be referred to a cardiologist for additional diagnostic tests or treatments.
