Dr. Christian ​Fulmer is a Bay Area native and is happy to have the opportunity to practice medicine in the place he calls home. He has a passion for promoting health and wellness through behavioral modification specifically through exercise and an active lifestyle. This area of health and wellness promotion is a direct extension of his Sports Medicine training.

Dr. Fulmer completed his undergraduate degree at UC Davis in Biochemistry. After completing his degree, he spent several years working in the pharmaceutical industry in the area of clinical trials research. He then went on to attend the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine for medical school. Dr. Fulmer completed his Family Medicine Residency at UC Davis Medical Center. After his residency, his passion for sports led him to pursue further training in the area of sports medicine. He completed his Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship at O’Connor Hospital in association with Stanford and San Jose State Universities.

He enjoys treating athletes of all ages and levels of competition for both sport related injuries and medical conditions. He is the team physician for several local sports teams including Valley Christian High School, San Jose City College, the San Jose Sabercats and the San Jose Sharks.

Dr. Fulmer is Board Certified in Family Medicine and Sports Medicine. He is a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, American Academy of Family Physicians, and the American Osteopathic Association.
