Dr. Charles Slack graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Southern Methodist University. Along with numerous academic awards, he was a member of the honorary fraternity Phi Beta Kappa. He received his MD degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. He then completed his general surgery residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, and his plastic surgery residency at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington D.C. Following his plastic surgery residency he was accepted into the Georgetown fellowship for cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the breast. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery as well as the American Board of Surgery and is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
