About Dr. Orozco

Bio


Dr. Catalina Orozco is a board-certified rheumatologist and internist who joined Rheumatology Associates in 2010. She has a special interest in patients with early inflammatory arthritis, osteoporosis and systemic lupus erythematosus. Dr. Orozco has published articles about early arthritis and participated in the Clinical Immunology Society (CIS) School in Systematic Autoimmune Diseases. Dr. Orozco graduated from the lnstituto de Ciencias de la Salud CES, Medellin, Colombia, as the best medical student of her class. She completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine as well as a two-year fellowship in Rheumatology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. During her fellowship, she was involved in both clinical and basic science research of patients with early arthritis. After finishing her training in rheumatology, Dr. Orozco joined Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas where she served as a Staff Rheumatologist. Dr. Orozco is fluent in Spanish and English.
