A double Board Certified Physician Dr. Carl Pulido joined Pain Care in 2017 with more than fifteen years of combined experience in the practice of Anesthesiology and Interventional Pain Management. Due to strong family ties, Dr. Pulido moved to Atlanta in 2012 after completing a Fellowship in Pain Medicine at the prestigious University of Miami School of Medicine Pain Medicine Fellowship Program, 2014 recipient of the œPain Medicine Fellowship Excellence Awardù by the American Academy of Pain Medicine.Dr. Pulido completed his Anesthesiology Residency training at The University of Connecticut Health Center in 2004 after receiving his medical degree with honors from Central University of Venezuela. Dr. Pulido then gained extensive experience as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Anesthesiology at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, where he developed advanced skills in the areas of orthopedics and regional anesthesia, anesthesia for the high risk obstetrical patient, acute post-operative pain management as well as neurosurgical anesthesia.Dr. Pulido enjoys the opportunity of helping patients facing challenging conditions such as chronic low back and neck pain, joint dysfunction, severe headaches and multiple chronic pain syndromes using a comprehensive and compassionate approach using a combination of advanced minimally invasive interventional techniques and safe, responsible evidence based medication management.
