Bruce Nolan MD FACP FAASM recently joined South Florida Sleep Disorders Specialists with over twenty-five years of experience as a Board Certified Sleep Specialist and was the founding Medical Director of the University of Miami Sleep Disorders Center. He has been recognized for many years by Best Doctors in America and is a Fellow of both the American College of Physicians and American Academy of Sleep Medicine. Sleep Medicine
Sleep medicine specialists diagnose and treat various disorders and diseases relating to sleep. This can include a range of conditions including insomnia, sleep apnea, restless leg syndrome, narcolepsy, nightmares and others. Dr. Nolan utilizes a variety of diagnostic tools including screening devices, overnight sleep studies or oximeters, among many others. Treatments can include CPAP therapy, implantation of sleep devices, counseling, lifestyle modifications, and others aimed at eliminating or alleviating the symptoms of sleep conditions.

The specialty of internal medicine is an area of primary care for adults. Dr. Nolan specializes in diagnosing and treating cross-system illnesses that may affect multiple organ systems. When necessary, Dr. Nolan also can refer patients to specialists.
