My practice of Sports Medicine is focused on healing and returning people to their desired level of activity after injury or other setback. I treat people of all ages, not just active competitive athletes. We have cutting edge musculoskeletal ultrasound and digital X-ray on site and provide a variety of services related to the diagnosis and treatment of injuries to the musculoskeletal system. We also deal with concussion, exercise induced asthma, osteoarthritis, tendon and ligament injuries, and a wide variety of activity related problems.
Sports medicine physicians are trained to provide treatment and prevention plans for those participating in sports and related physical activities. Dr. Abrahamson is trained to treat complications such as muscle tears and strains, concussions, tendon and ligament damage, shin splints, sports hernias, fractures, and a variety of others. Treatments may include rehabilitation services, therapies and a variety of surgical operations, among others.
Dr. Abrahamson serves as the initial point of contact for patients looking for general or primary medical treatment & may refer patients to a specialist when needed. As a family doctor in Colorado, Dr. Bradley Abrahamson delivers complete medical treatment for families & individuals.
