Dr. Osterrieder graduated with his bachelor?s degree from Florida State University, and he received his medical degree from the University of South Florida. Dr. Osterrieder completed his residency training in obstetrics and gynecology through the University of Florida College of Medicine at Sacred Heart Hospital Pensacola.Dr. Osterrieder has a special medical interest in minimally invasive and robotic surgery. He was recognized during his residency with the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists? Special Resident Award and was a two-time recipient of the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons? Outstanding Laparoendoscopic Surgeon Award. While in medical school, Dr. Osterrieder volunteered on a regular basis at Shriners Hospital for Children, the Judeo Christian Health Clinic and Carl Sagan Academy.Dr. Osterrieder is an avid sports fan, especially of FSU football! From childhood through college, he played competitive sports, such as soccer, baseball, football and basketball. In his spare time, Dr. Osterrieder enjoys outdoor activities such as biking, hiking, surfing, scuba diving, fishing and hunting.
