B. Robert Shayestehfar, M.D. is a board certified radiologist with sub-specialty training in MRI / Musculoskeletal Imaging. Throughout his education and post graduate training, Dr. Shayestefar’s conscientious and diligent dedication to his field is reflected in his honors and scholarships. Dr. Shayestefar is the author of multiple presentations and publications in the field of Radiology. After serving five years as the Chief of Musculoskeletal / MRI Imaging at Olive View / UCLA Medical Center, he is currently full time at the ProHealth North Hollywood site.
Dr. Shayestefar is a Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of California Irvine, with a degree in Biology. He earned his medical degree from the University of California Los Angeles with a Alpha Omega Alpha honors. Dr. Shayestefar completed his clinical internship training at Mercy Hospital in San Diego. Following his internship, he went back to UCLA to compete his Radiology residency training. Following his residency, Dr. Shayestefar completed his fellowship in MRI / Musculoskeletal at the University of Southern California.
