Dr. Ave Lachiewicz graduated from University of Minnesota Medical School in 1980 before completing a residency in Pediatrics at Albert Einstein College of Medicine Affiliated Programs from 1980 to 1983. She then completed a fellowship in Child Development and Clinical Genetics at University of North Carolina–Chapel from 1983 to 1986.
