Dr. Nair is HeartPlace Plano’s newest addition, relocating from New York. After completing fellowship at Albany Medical Center, Dr. Nair joined the faculty there as an assistant profession and clinical cardiologist. Board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Echocardiography, and Cardiac Nuclear Imaging, Dr. Nair subscribes to an evidence-based, preventive approach in caring for his patients. He speaks English and Malayalam.
As a nuclear cardiologist, Dr. Nair is trained in a highly specialized area of medicine that integrates the use of non- or minimally-invasive procedures to examine and diagnose patients for heart conditions. Dr. Nair may utilize diagnostic imaging techniques such as nuclear stress testing and radionuclide ventriculography to assess a patient’s blood flow, evaluate the heart’s pumping function, and diagnose heart conditions.
