Dr. Brooks graduated from the Boston University/Hahnemann University Hospital six-year medical program and went on to residency and fellowships at NYU Langone Medical Center and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. He completed his fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering and and spent twelve years working at Hahnemann University Hospital, where he built up the surgical oncology division and built the surgical research labs. He moved to Pennsylvania Hospital in the University of Pennsylvania Health System in September of 2013.
