Archana Mehta, MD received both her BS in Biology and her Medical Degree from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) School of Medicine in Richmond, VA, which is a combined 8 year guaranteed medical program. At VCU, she graduated summa cum laude. She then went on to complete her Pediatric Residency at the New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical Center in NYC. She completed her Fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at Thomas Jefferson University/Alfred I. duPont Children’s Hospital in Philadelphia, PA and Wilmington, DE, where she was Chief Fellow. Dr. Mehta has given numerous presentations on the subject of Allergy and Immunology and has also conducted research on immunology in children. She has given lectures at various hospitals as well. She is Board-Certified in both Pediatrics and Allergy/Immunology and is a member of both the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology and the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. Her interests include allergic rhinitis, allergic conjunctivitis, chronic rhinosinusitis, food allergy, asthma and atopic dermatitis. Dr. Mehta is bilingual with proficiency in Gujarati.
