He is considered a worldwide expert on the treatment of patellofemoral disorders, having published techniques on reconstructive patellofemoral surgeries, as well as a member of the international Patellofemoral Study Group and the Patellofemoral Foundation. He is also considered an expert on the management of pectoralis major ruptures, cartilage repair and restoration procedures of the knee and shoulder, resurfacing procedures in the knee and shoulder, multiligament injuries, and open and arthroscopic reconstructive procedures of the knee and shoulder.
