Dr. Sosa graduated medical school from Universidad Central de Venezuela in 2002. He did a surgical internship at the Brown University Program. He then went on to do a residency in internal medicine and fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Following this, he completed an interventional pulmonary fellowship at the Harvard University Program at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. He joined the UMass faculty from 2011-2016. On 2016 he moved to Miami where he currently practices with Miami Pulmonary Specialists.
Dr. Sosa has hospital affiliations with Jackson South and Jackson Memorial Hospitals.
His interests incllude lung cancer; diagnostic and therapeutic airway and pleural procedures, asthma, COPD, chronic cough, interstitial lung disease and pulmonary fibrosis.
