Dr. Bonati is the Chief Orthopaedic Surgeon and founder of The Bonati Spine Institute, a revolutionary health institute in advanced spine surgery.
A graduate of the University of Seville and the Bowman Gray Medical School, Dr. Bonati has been practicing medicine for over 30 years. With an impressive array of internships and residencies at top locations including the Washington Hospital Center, the University of Alabama, and Georgetown University.
Dr. Bonati is also a Diplomate of the International College of Surgeons, the American Board of Neurological Surgery, Orthopaedic Medicine and Surgery, and the Arthroscopy Board of North America.
Author of the book “No More Back Pain: A New and Proven Program to Free Yourself from Back Pain for Life.” Dr. Bonati has made it his life’s work to develop an effective, proven, alternative solution for many spinal conditions.
Dr. Bonati holds 7 U.S. Patents on advanced spinal surgery instruments and surgical methods. As well as the first FDA approval for the development of the application of the Holmium YAG laser for spine surgery.
Since the opening of The Bonati Spine Institute, Dr. Bonati has made medical history by providing alternatives to traditional open back surgeries to treat spinal conditions.
As an orthopedic surgeon in Florida, Dr. Bonati is trained to diagnose and treat all types of injuries to the musculoskeletal system, including the bones, joints, muscles, ligaments, and tendons. After arriving at a specific diagnosis, Dr. Bonati will generally resort to surgery when all other treatment methods have been exhausted or ruled out. Patients may require the care of an orthopedic surgeon for fractures, torn ligaments, sprains, sports injuries, and more.
