Not sure where to begin. There are not enough words to describe the amount of disgust and dislike I feel for dr. Hemming. We trusted him and his so-called knowledge when we took my uncle to see him for the treatment of his bile duct cancer. I have never met anyone so negative and so arrogant. He thinks he is God and can determine people\'s lives and deaths. He told my uncle he could not be saved and that he should go accept his slow death. what kind of a human being says such a thing to someone who is already so vulnerable? Do not go see this doctor or even UCSD Med Center for that matter. They are a bunch of researchers who will use you as lab rats and just throw you out once they\'re done with you. We went for a second opinion with a surgeon at Hoag Hospital who ended up performing the surgery on my uncle where she took out 40% of his liver, his bile duct and fall bladder. He is doing phenomenally now and has recovered so quickly! Be sure to get different opinions even if you go see Dr. Hemming. He cannot be trusted. He completely neglected my uncle and he should pay for the emotional and physical sufferings he put him through.
