Dr. Alaa Alrabbat graduated from Damascus University Faculty of Medicine before completing a residency in Internal Medicine at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, NY. He then completed a fellowship in Pulmonary Critical Care at University of Missouri at Columbia.
Dr. Alrabbat has two offices in Oklahoma where he specializes in Pulmonary Critical Care, Sleep Medicine, Pulmonology and Geriatrics.
Critical care pulmonologists are trained in two closely-related areas of medicine: pulmonology & critical care. Dr. Alrabbat treats patients suffering from life-threatening pulmonary disorders and diseases. These may include emphysema, pneumonia, lung cancer or COPD. As a critical care specialist, Dr. Alrabbat is also trained to stabilize patients who are in critical condition and require mechanical ventilation.
Sleep medicine specialists diagnose and treat various disorders and diseases relating to sleep. This can include a range of conditions including insomnia, sleep apnea, restless leg syndrome, narcolepsy, nightmares and others.
